Five steps, about five minutes. It works on non-PTA and imported phones too: our eSIMs are data-only and carry no Pakistani number, so there's nothing to register with the PTA and no tax to pay.
Check your phone supports eSIM
Dial *#06#. If you see an EID (a long 32-digit number), your phone has eSIM. Most phones from the iPhone XR, Galaxy S20 and Pixel 3 onwards do. Other ways to check
Check it's carrier-unlocked
On an iPhone, go to Settings → General → About → Carrier Lock: it must say “No SIM restrictions”. On Android, the model number in Settings → About phone tells which version it is: send it to us on WhatsApp and we'll check it free. JV phones are usually carrier-locked, and an eSIM won't work on a locked phone until it's unlocked. More on locks
Pick a plan
Choose one of our eSIM plans for non-PTA phones in Pakistan, or message us on WhatsApp. On WhatsApp you can pay from Easypaisa, JazzCash or any bank app. No CNIC needed. We send your eSIM's QR code as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Scan the QR code, on WiFi
iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular) → Add eSIM → Use QR Code. Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM. Other Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs, then add an eSIM. Scan the code and follow the prompts. Keep your normal SIM in: it still handles calls and SMS.
Turn on data
Turn Data Roaming ON for the new eSIM line and choose it for mobile data. Roaming is required, and it costs nothing extra.
No internet, “No service” or only an “E” on the signal bar: check Data Roaming is on for the eSIM line and that it's the one chosen for mobile data. Still stuck? Message us with your phone's model and we'll sort it out. You can also check how much data is left.
